Rena Sofer
Rena Sherel Sofer (born on December 2 the 2nd of December, 1968) is an American actress, known for her role in the daytime network, in episodic guest appearances, and made-for-television movies. Sofer was given an Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for her role as Lois Cerullo on the soap opera General Hospital. She played Quinn Fuller in the CBS soap drama The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013 to 2022.
Early life
Sofer was the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) She was an Orthodox Rabbi, and Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau).
She relocated with her father as well as her brother David to Teaneck, New Jersey, in the year 1970. When Sofer was five years old, they remained in Western Pennsylvania. Their family lived in Ambridge Pennsylvania where their father was the director of Beth Samuels Jewish Center. Later, she attended the Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey, which is an co-educational Modern Orthodox Jewish high-school. Sofer resided in North Bergen, New Jersey in the town where her father was rabbi of synagogue Temple Beth El. Sofer graduated from North Bergen High School and then attended Montclair State College.
Career
Television during the daytime
Lois Marie Cerullo was the first Lois Marie Cerullo that Sofer performed with on General Hospital. Her first appearance came in 1993 as a manager for a band. Her first appearance was in the role of Rocky McKenzie in the 1988-91 daytime soap series Loving.
